Dr. Giles was born in Lima Peru in 1911.  He competed Medical School at the Universidad Nacional San Marcos in 1934 with a degree what was then known as Sanitary Medicine or Infectology.  (Immunology did not exist as a specialtyin 1934)  Dr. Giles' pioneering research on immunlogy led to the discovery and application of Full Spectrum Specific Immunotherapy in the treatment of Cancer.  Dr. Giles' first application of immunotherapy in the treatment of a cancer case was in 1964. (In fact, this first application was successful in treating the cancer). After this,  Dr. Giles treated approximately two hundred patients with Full Spectrum Specific Immunotherapy.   Ironically, at the age of 95 Dr. Giles was diagnosed with Salivary Gland (Parotid) Cancer and became one more success case in the application of the treatment that he pioneered.  Dr. Giles passed away at the ripe age of 97 due to an unfortunate accident.

Born in 1970 Dr. Nuñez began his medical studies at the prestigious Cayetano Heredia Medical school in Lima.  He intended to specialize in Gynecology when Dr. Giles, who was a distant relative, invited him to participate in his pioneering work. Dr. Nuñez changed the direction of his studies towards immunology and completed his medical degree as a Surgeon with a Masters degree in Immunology in 2000.  Dr. Nuñez worked alongside his mentor for over a decade until Dr. Giles' untimely death in 2003. It was actually Dr. Nuñez who treated Dr. Giles and helped defeat his cancer.  Since then Dr. Nuñez has continued to evolve the immunotherapy research and has treated several hundred patients with extremely high success rates.  Dr. Nuñez continues to practice medicine in Lima  while leading the research effort in Full Spectrum Specific Immunotherapy.
